Anfield Overview
Anfield is pure football heritage — home of Liverpool FC (official site). The streets nearest the ground (Walton Breck Road & Anfield Road) become pedestrian-first on matchdays with stewarded zones and temporary closures.
Smart arrival: plan drop-off just beyond the tightest cordons, then take a short walk in. For departures, agree a meet point one or two streets away from the heaviest footfall for a quicker getaway.
Accessibility: We operate premium saloons, estates and people carriers (not wheelchair-adapted). We welcome all accessibility enquiries and will do our utmost to accommodate or coordinate alternatives — please see our Accessibility guidance.

Matchdays
Arrivals & Departures
- Private chauffeur (recommended): door-to-door private hire with planned drop-off before cordons and a pre-agreed pin for collection after full-time. Sports & Entertainment chauffeur service • Airport Transfers hub
- Public buses: frequent city-centre services on matchdays, but expect queues near kick-off and after the final whistle.
- Rail to city centre: arrive by train then connect by bus or take a longer walk; queuing systems may be in place on busy fixtures.
Fan Stalls & Quick Eats
Walton Breck Road and Anfield Road host classic matchday stalls — burgers, pies, loaded fries, hot dogs, coffee carts and sweet treats. Queues build ~60–90 minutes before kick-off; earlier snacks mean faster service.
Soak Up the Atmosphere
- The Kop approaches: songs, scarves and photo ops close to the stand.
- Stanley Park: a calmer stroll with views towards both Anfield and Goodison.
- Club Store: go early to avoid queues — official LFC retail.
Post-Match Pick-Up Tips
- Exit via the stand you’re seated in, then head to the agreed side street beyond the densest crowds.
- Allow 10–15 minutes after full-time for a smoother meet.
- Dining after? Transfer first, then a later collection to hotel/airport keeps the evening relaxed.
Tours
On non-matchdays, Anfield tours typically include the dressing rooms, press room, players’ tunnel, pitch-side views and the LFC Museum.
- Book: LFC Stadium Tours (official) • Museum info via the same portal.
